Trium Portfolio Manager, David Slater, recently provided insight to the Wall Street Journal on the effects of the US-China trade negotiations.

The comments come in the context of a rally in US stocks, providing some degree of temperence.

He believes a combination of factors have led to an increase in investor caution with respect to the US markets, namely the underwhelming performance of key industries and uncertainty surrounding the US-China trade deal.
