Shenan Dhanani recently contributed to the Hedgeweek® MSCI Global Outlook Report 2026, sharing his views on the evolution of multi-strategy investing and the ongoing competition for investment talent.
In the report, Shenan discusses the continued growth of institutional demand for uncorrelated returns and highlights the increasing adoption of separately managed account structures, driven by investors seeking greater transparency, flexibility and control over their allocations.
Reflecting on the industry’s ongoing competition for talent, Shenan notes: “The ‘war for talent’ remains one of the defining themes of this decade. At Trium, we believe the winners will be those who successfully include a diverse range of skillsets, fostering collaboration between portfolio managers, data scientists, and technologists.”
Shenan also highlights Trium’s culture, which is designed to attract entrepreneurial and intellectually curious investment professionals while encouraging collaboration across disciplines and strategies. This approach helps support both innovation and the delivery of uncorrelated returns for clients.
Looking ahead to 2026, Shenan suggests that investors will continue to prioritise diversification, specialist expertise and managers capable of adapting to an evolving market environment.
