SUMMARY

Overview

Trium Khartes is a Global Event Driven Strategy focused on Merger Arbitrage with tactical exposure to Special Situations. It primarily invests in Small & Mid-Cap deals with a focus on identifying deals in less-crowded international jurisdictions and complex situations with attractive risk-reward characteristics. The strategy aims to deliver uncorrelated returns by trading equity deal risk and hard catalyst corporate events globally. The portfolio is generally divided between a ‘clean’ deal portfolio that generates a baseline level of returns across the cycle and a ‘complex’ deal portfolio where we conduct in-depth research in merger or other hard catalyst situations.

Investment Objective

The Strategy targets positive returns throughout the cycle with low correlation to equity markets.
