Formerly Head of Sales for EMEA for the Alternative Investment Services business at Citi.  Prior to that, was Executive Director within JP Morgan’s Hedge Fund Derivatives business and had responsibility for origination of structured fund derivatives and finance transactions.

Deep experience of offshore funds and EU-regulated funds, including UCITS and AIFs, having extensively advised clients on the establishment and operation of a range of fund structures.

Over 16 years of capital markets, banking and advisory experience gained at Citibank, JPMorgan, Fortis Bank, Ernst & Young and Davy Stockbrokers.

Formerly responsible for distribution, structuring and origination of structured fund derivative products covering EMEA and the Americas at HSBC Global Banking and Markets.

Over 14 years of banking and financial services experience gained at Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Fortis Bank and HSBC.

MBA from Imperial College, London.

Donald has 30 years of industry experience.

Since 2000, his focus has been on hedge and Alternative UCITS funds. His experience includes senior roles in Prime Brokerage sales at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. Since 2008 Donald has held leadership roles in the Alternatives businesses at Henderson Global Investors, TT and Old Mutual Global Investors, where his responsibilities included managing Funds of Hedge Funds, recruitment of portfolio managers and the launch and growth of several Alternatives funds.

Richard joined Trium Capital in 2013.

Richard started his career as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, and has had a long and distinguished career in industry in a large variety of Finance Director and equivalent roles.

Most recently he was CFO for Practical Law Group, the leading online publisher of know-how for the legal profession, which is now part of the Thompson Reuters group.

Richard graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University with an MA (Hons) in Mathematics.

Prior to joining Trium, James worked at PAAMCO for 4 years within the Portfolio Management team where he led the research efforts into global quantitative hedge fund strategies across all asset classes.

James previously worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland for 10 years, initially as an IT developer before transitioning to FX trading where he developed and managed a range of systematic trading models.

James has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Additionally, James is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst charterholder, and he holds the Certificate in Quantitative Finance.

Formerly at HSBC responsible for the global development of derivative products linked to funds, managed accounts and customised indices.

Over 15 years of experience in various trading, structuring and quantitative analyst roles at HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Rabobank and Van Lanschot covering multiple asset classes.

Master of Science in Mathematics (Applied Probability), Delft University of Technology, Netherlands

David was the COO and CFO with Aldersgate from 2009 until it merged with Trium Capital in 2013.

He has significant experience of AIM IPO, placings, acquisitions and trade sales of proprietarial and VC funded companies.

David brings over 30 years experience in stockbroking, insurance, financial systems, investment management and trading across a variety of London institutions in roles as CFO, COO and CEO.

He is a Chartered Accountant.

Steven brings 20 years of legal and compliance experience to Trium.

Before joining Trium in 2015, Steven was Head of Compliance in EMEA for PineBridge Investments.

He has previously been Head of Legal and Compliance for ABN AMRO, both on their Asset Management and Private Banking Side and Head of Compliance for ICAP in EMEA and Asia.

Steven qualified as a solicitor with Allen & Overy.

He holds an MA (hons) in Oriental Studies from Oxford University.
